ASMIC Convention

 
ASMIC 2012 Tri-Convention
Ft. Mitchell, Ky.


On behalf of the ASMIC Convention committee and all ASMIC officers , you are invited to attend the 2012 Tri-convention , along with members of AAMUC and Chute & Dagger, at the Drawbridge Inn- Fort Mitchell, Ky. (greater Cincinnati area).

Where and When: The convention will be held at the Drawbridge Inn at 2477 Royal drive, Ft. Mitchell, Ky. on I-71/75 just 5 miles South of downtown Cincinnati and 8 miles North of the greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International airport ( a Delta airlines hub). The convention will officially start on Friday, Sept.7th and will end on Saturday, Sept. 8th. There will be pre-registration and unloading/setup for tableholders on Thursday afternoon.

Hotel Information: The Drawbridge Inn has hosted many military shows and several past ASMIC conventions have been there. For reservations call: 1-800-354-9793 and ask for the ASMIC rate.

Travel Information to the Drawbridge Inn: On Interstate Highway 71/75 at the Buttermilk Pike exit #186. 5 miles South of downtown Cincinnati and 7 miles Northeast of the International Airport for No.Ky. / Cincinnati area. Free shuttle is available to & from airport. Call the hotel at 859-341-2800. Runs on the hour and half hour.

Convention Registration: Information forthcoming.

Renting Tables: Standard tables are 6 feet long and are $55.00 each. Wall tables are $65.00 each. More information forthcoming

Canceling Tables: No table refunds will be given if the cancellation notice is received within 15 days of the convention.

Unloading and setup: Tableholders and helpers will be allowed to unload and to setup their materials on Thursday, Sept. 6th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Entrances for unloading will be explained at the registration area. Please cover all tables when you leave. There will be a trade area provided on Thursday with tables in the outer lobby from London Hall (the main hall for the convention).

Seminars: Information forthcoming

Displays and Awards: ASMIC and AAMUC will present several awards to the best military displays at the convention. These awards will be presented Friday evening during the annual business meeting. Display tables are available free of charge. All displays will be in a special area. Please indicate how many display tables you need on the registration form when forms are made available.

Security: There will be 24 hour security provided from 1:00 pm on Thursday until 5 pm on Saturday.

Food: Food service is available at the restaurant in the hotel. There are several nice restaurants in the immediate area. In addition, breakfast rolls, coffee and juice will be sold in the hall adjoining the main convention hall on Friday and Saturday mornings plus sandwiches and drinks will be sold for lunch the same days.

Parking: There is plenty of free parking at the hotel.
